Schedule your Flu, COVID-19 and/or RSV Vaccinations at Elements Pharmacy
Dear Parents, please note the following:
1. We have had some instances of wasted doses of flu and COVID vaccines due to children resisting vaccination.
Please know that your insurance will only pay for one dose of vaccine and that we will need to charge you for a second dose if the first one is wasted.
To the best of your ability, please prepare
your children for vaccination ahead of your appointment. As always, we will be very patient and provide the necessary time and space while you negotiate with your child. We look forward to seeing you!
2. Many insurance plans are reimbursing COVID vaccines for ages 6 months to 11 years under our cost. We may need to charge a $35 administration fee if the insurance reimbursement for your child's vaccine is insufficient to cover our costs.
CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 illness this fall and winter. Vaccination remains the
best protection against COVID-19-related hospitalization and death.
If you have not received a COVID-19 vaccine in the past 2 months, get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect yourself this fall and winter.
RSV is a common respiratory virus from which most people recover in 1-2 weeks.
However, RSV can be serious in adults ages 60 and over, particularly adults with certain chronic medical conditions,
people who are frail, of advanced age or reside in long-term care facilities.
Single-dose RSV vaccination should occur before the start of the fall RSV season.
Flu is a contagious disease that spreads around the United States every year, usually between October and May. Flu vaccine prevents millions of illnesses and flu-related visits to the doctor each year.
CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get vaccinated every flu season.
